A vibrant promotional banner was created for Ask Me Another Canada, a lively live quiz and comedy show from CBC. The design supports both print and digital promotion, capturing the show’s playful, energetic tone while appealing to socially aware Canadian adults who enjoy quirky, clever entertainment.

The project was developed as part of a design assignment at Toronto Film School within the print and digital media industry.

The show blends brainteasers, trivia, music, and humour into a fast-paced, unpredictable experience. The challenge was to distill this multi-layered personality into a single visual that feels dynamic, engaging, and memorable — without leaning on traditional broadcast design tropes. The audience skews culturally curious and intellectually playful, so the design needed to communicate both wit and energy.

The visual concept was inspired by editorial collage and layered graphics. Overlapping shapes, bold colours, and dynamic composition reflect the show’s eclectic mix of segments and spontaneous humour.

The result uses vibrant, layered elements to convey movement and personality, positioning the show as smart, fun, and “quirky cool” — much like the experience of tuning in or playing along.
