Edit Studio.

brand identity package

  • A full brand identity was developed for Edit Studio — a new multi-functional salon and creative space launching in Victoria.

The space begins with tanning and barbering services, while also hosting DJ pop-ups and rotating art showcases. The scope included logo design, visual identity system, typography, and color palette.

  • The client sought an identity that felt edgy yet approachable — something that would stand out among boutique salons in Victoria while maintaining a clean aesthetic.

The audience spans early teens to young adults, and the space itself is unisex and multi-functional. The identity needed to feel versatile and culture-driven, without leaning too heavily into traditional “salon” visual tropes.

The goal: create a brand that feels creative and expressive while remaining professional and trustworthy.

  • The identity draws inspiration from clean street-style graffiti and contemporary creative culture.

A fully handwritten logotype was developed to maximize authenticity and movement. Flowing letterforms and varied script weights create rhythm and organic connection, reinforcing a “go with the flow” mentality aligned with self-expression and individuality.

The tag-style lettering introduces a rebellious, art-forward energy — resonating with the creative community — while maintaining enough structure and craftsmanship to signal professionalism and quality service.

The result balances street credibility with polish: art gallery meets salon.
